Ein bisschen weiter von vorgestern erzählt. Ein Höhepunkt war die Feldküche, von einer lieben Bekannten in Deutschland gespendet. So kann Herr Stefan Reste von Supermärkte usw mit Reis oder Kartoffeln in grösseren Mengen kochen.

A bit more news from yesterday. A highlight was the delivery of the field kitchen, donated by a kind lady in Germany. Mr. Stefan will be able to cook large quantities of donations from supermarkets etc along with rice or potatoes.

Von dem Auto runterladen war nicht so einfach. The first obstacle was getting it down from the van.

Ion (der netter Herr der uns hilft) aus dem Dorf macht das Fundament für die Feldküche. Ein bisschen vierbienige Hilfe schadet nie.
Ion (the gent from the village who's helping) is making the foundation for the field kitchen. A little four-legged help is always welcome.

Gegen Ende des Nachmittags haben wir die Katzen wieder in ihrem neu geputzten Zimmer gelassen. Alles inspizieren, vor allem den Kratzbaum und die tollen Kissen, genäht von unseren Kolleginnen des Verlassene Pfoten Forums - vielen herzlichen Dank an Anne und Sabine! Die Katzen lieben ihre neuen Betten!

Towards the end of the afternoon we let the cats back into their room. A full inspection was called for, not just the new loos but also the new scratching post and the brilliant beds made especially for them by Anne and Sabine - thank you so much ladies!

Ich war heute nicht im Tierheim, Anita berichtete mir aber, dass die Klos und die Kissen weiterhin benutzt wurden!
I wasn't in the shelter today, but Anita reported that the loos and the beds were well used!

Die Herren waren heute sehr fleißig - bei 30°!! Dächer auf den zwinger montieren. Alle Achtung die Buben!
Morgen und übermorgen haben wir eine grosse Kastra-Aktion, TÄ von RAR werden bei uns ca. 50 Tiere kastrieren. 07.00 Uhr Frühstück und dann ab ins Tierheim.

The boys were very busy again today. With temperatures of around 30° !! they were putting on the roofs on the new pens.
Tomorrow is a neuter-marathon, the vets from RAR are coming to neuter some 50 animals in the shelter. 7 am breakfast then off to the shelter!
